Don’t you just love kids? And babies? And the whole happy family? Us too! We’re The Pradhan Studios, a husband-and-wife team that loves being just that – husband and wife – and photographers, designers and artists. We have two awesome, amazing boys, too. We met while we were both working at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado – when Rachel was a lost-in-her-paintbrushes and camera high-school senior, and Nirzhar was a Nepali-boy working his way through college. It was love at first flirtatious look, and some 15 years and two handsome boys later, we’re still very much in love. (I know, squish!) For over 10 years we’ve been professional designers, photographers and artists and this ‘eye’ for design and style has lead us to capture and create elegant black and white photographs for children, families, and events.

It’s this love that has brought us to start The Pradhan Studios, a family photography and artists studio in Orange County, California.

Kids grow-up so fast, don’t they? Our wish is to help you preserve and cherish the fleeting moments of life in the classic, quiet and candid ways of monochrome photography. Instead of the traditional studio family portraits, we take our clients outside and let nature and natural light do their magic.
