Artist, Photographer, Designer
Although I’ve always enjoyed experiencing art through drawing, painting and design – my most memorable moment in feeling a passion to be creative was when my father took us to Dallas, Texas in 1993 for an exhibit of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. It was that moment that I realized how much I loved seeing the world in dreamy swirls of color, light and movement. I knew that from that moment on I had to explore this new love.
I first started with photography in High School, where I was the photojournalist for the Yearbook for my Junior and Senior years. I continued my love for art and design at The Art Institute of Colorado and also at The Art Institute of California – Orange County, where I studied interior and graphic design.
My biggest joy comes from my family – a loving husband and two sons. I’ve taken many photos throughout my life, but that seemed to truly escalate once the boys were born! Constantly seeing things from a fresh and different point of view has helped my art and design reach new heights. I’m excited to be able to share my enthusiasm with you!
