“Timeless”: The Pradhan Difference In Black And White Photos
Here is an example of how we used our “Timeless” process in a photograph: First is the photo captured in the moment. Second is the photo processed in ordinary black and white. Third is the photo rendered in our “Timeless” process.

Black and white images have a certain mood to it that draws us into the image and engages our imagination. If the photos are portraits or events of people we know, the engagement is even deeper. Black and white or monochromatic photos invite us to directly engage with the memories of the subject of the photograph. We are reminded of the person and his or her personality, without the distraction of colors of the background or the clothes. We are not only reminded of the event and the day the photo was taken, but our entire sense of being surrounding the memory. We go far beyond the snapshot in time when interacting with a black and white image.
Not Just Black and White Photos
Here, at The Pradhan Studios, our motivation is to process our photos in such a way that you, the viewer is deeply engaged in the photo. We want you to see an entire series of happy memories when you view your photo and not just a snapshot taken on a particular day. To make this happen, we take great care to work with your photos, which to us is as valuable and precious as it is to you. Our cameras capture the photos in color, but we process them so that when you look at your photos decades from now, they engage you and bring you back to these happy memories.
